Cressida Childs formed Club Cubana in 1998 and was the first Bristol salsa school. She subsequently went on to organise the UK's first salsa weekend at Pontins. These events are internationally acclaimed and the prototype for the subsequent "congress" events! Club Cubana organise 4 weekenders per year which offer different options. Whilst salsa is the main style dance, each event features alternative styles - such as Tango, Jive, Lambada etc. Cressida teaches salsa and modern jive.

Salsa Lesson in Bristol :
Latin Blues classes starting 24th April with Cressida and Jess Newton. This class is suitable for imp. & int. students in salsa or modern jive. Learn how to dance sensuously to slower jive and blues tracks using a foundation of jive & salsa moves along with Latin styling. Learn body movement, technique and musicality! Dance to slow jive tracks, Blues and Soul.
